What is CABT/CAT and FastCAT you might ask....
They are both lure coursing events for any dog over 1 year old.
CABT/CAT - which stands for Coursing Ability Test is a 600 yard COURSE (300 yard for dogs under 12 inches) wheredogs chase an artificial lure which represents a fleeting animal. The dogs have a time frame and it's pass/fail.
FastCAT - it's a 100 yard DASH where the dog earns points for each completed run. There is also a lure the dogs can chase. It's also a pass/fail
